We are pleased to fulfil another order for an internationally renowned rail vehicle manufacturer headquartered in Switzerland. Following our previous successful cooperation, our partner has once again chosen us, this time commissioning the production of one pair of high‑capacity, self‑propelled transport carts.
The solution we supplied plays a key role in internal manufacturing logistics. Each cart is capable of transporting loads of up to 10,000 kilograms, while paired operation allows for the safe movement of rail vehicle structures weighing up to 20 tonnes. Despite an own weight of approximately 3.2 tonnes, the equipment features a compact design and was specifically developed for continuous use in demanding industrial environments.
One of the main advantages of the transport trolleys is their excellent manoeuvrability. Stepless speed control between 0 and 40 m/min, combined with the ability to turn on the spot, enables precise handling even in confined production hall conditions. Propulsion is provided by a battery‑powered system: the high‑capacity 48 V battery pack allows a range of up to 6.3 kilometres on a single charge, even under full load.
During the design process, particular emphasis was placed on safety and ease of operation. The combination of driven and free‑running wheels with polyurethane treads ensures stable movement, while control is carried out via remote control. The equipment operates reliably within a temperature range of 0 to +40 °C, fitting seamlessly into the manufacturer’s daily production processes. It is particularly important feedback for us that our globally recognised Swiss partner has once again placed its trust in us. This order further confirms our focus on customised engineering solutions and long‑term partnership‑based cooperation.
