High-Precision Lifting Technology for Every Sector

GD provides advanced lifting technology by designing and manufacturing cranes tailored to the needs of nearly every industrial sector.
Our product range is particularly extensive in the field of bridge cranes. We offer single-girder and double-girder overhead cranes, suspension cranes, and even specialized low-headroom double-girder cranes and unique single girder cranes with top running trolley. These cranes have the significant advantage of enabling crane installation in rooms with low ceiling heights where traditional crane designs would not be feasible.

We also produce custom-designed jib cranes and slewing jib cranes. Our jib cranes are available in coloumn-mounted, wall-mounted, or track-mounted versions.
Our cranes are built for both indoor and outdoor use. Additionally, we can provide lifting equipment for especially polluted environments or cleanroom conditions.

One of our specialties is the design and manufacture of lifting equipment for hazardous environments, meeting all EU safety requirements for such devices.
Our offerings include automated cranes designed to meet specific customer needs. Our lifting equipment features high-precision positioning, automated load pickup, and placement. Our digital control systems can communicate not only with operator commands but also with process control systems, ensuring seamless crane operation.

Advanced Lifting Technology from Workshop to Industry

To ensure safe load handling, we design and manufacture optimally configured grabbing devices tailored to the products being handled.
Our cranes are utilized across all industrial sectors. From the simplest workshop cranes to equipment serving production lines, and from warehousing and waste processing to the chemical, energy, and nuclear industries, GD provides solutions for every need.

Our product portfolio also includes gantry cranes and semi-gantry cranes with load capacities ranging from 1 to 100 tons, typically designed for outdoor operation. As a special option, we offer gantry and semi-gantry cranes for indoor use. These do not require separate tracks and can operate on high-quality, load-bearing floors using polyurethane-coated wheels.
Beyond cranes, our lifting technology division also provides enclosed-area lifting equipment.

These can be fixed to the building structure or built with their own independent frame—whatever works best for your site. We build them in all shapes and sizes, topping out at a 10-ton load capacity and a 12-meter height. We can even make the lift platform as big as 5×5 meters.

FAQ

What kind of cranes do we make?
We cover pretty much everything. We build the classic single- and double-girder bridge cranes, of course, but we also offer suspension cranes, and even special low-headroom models for tight spaces. If you’re looking for jib cranes, we’ve got column-mounted, wall-mounted, and even track-mounted versions. Long story short: if it involves lifting, we can handle it.

Can these cranes be used in facilities with low ceilings?
Absolutely. That’s exactly why we developed our low-headroom models. We designed them to get the maximum lifting height possible, even in buildings where things are a bit tight overhead.

Are they suitable for outdoor use?
Definitely. We build these systems to be tough. It doesn’t matter if you need the crane for a clean indoor hall or a yard exposed to the wind and rain—we customize the build to make sure it holds up in your specific environment.

Do you have solutions for hazardous or dirty environments?
Definitely. We build machines for the tough spots, not just the easy ones. If you have a hazardous ATEX zone or a really dirty facility, we can design a crane that meets all the necessary EU safety standards to keep it running. We even handle the other end of the spectrum: ultra-clean equipment for sterile environments.

What kind of weight can your gantry cranes handle?
For our gantry and semi-gantry cranes, we usually work within the 1 to 100-ton range. We even have indoor models that don’t need rails at all—they roll on special polyurethane wheels right on the industrial floor, so you can move them around freely.

Are self-propelled or wheel-based cranes available?
Yes, we offer options that do not require fixed tracks and can move on durable indoor flooring, providing more flexibility in crane operation.
